The lighthouse is quiet but for soft, sibilant whispers. There's a repetitive, incantatory quality to them.
Yet as you cross the threshold, an old nāga with skin like cracked leather breaks off. He swivels to face you, baring one broken fang.
Sugaan is a naga shaman leading the incursion into Hasongo, to defend the luminous adra pillars from Rauataians, convinced that their disruption of the tree of the gods will make them punish them with another extinction event, wiping out most life across the archipelago. As heir to the collective knowledge of the naga folk, he understands history and its processes better than most kith.
