Serpent Crown is a hat in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Description
This is one of several plumed crowns worn by the Huana royalty of Neketaka, most recently Queen Onekaza II. This is a court crown, intended to be worn day-to-day, unlike some of the queen's more extravagant diplomatic wear. The crown's feathers identify it as the Serpent Crown, which the queen bore as a symbol of her authority as well as a subtle criticism of the various foreigners, rivals, and competing interests that recently beset her palace. According to Huana tradition, a monarch wears the Serpent Crown when she is surrounded by untrustworthy snakes. The symbolism was not lost on the queen.
Acquisition
- Dropped by Queen Onekaza II if you kill her during the quest The Final Maneuver. Will also drop from Prince Aruihi if you kill him instead.
