Sabotage at the Brass Citadel is a faction quest in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Synopsis
Now that their position within the Vailian Trading Company is secure, the Director has outlined a plan to cripple the Royal Deadfire Company by destroying its powderhouse.
To keep anyone from suspecting the Company's involvement, they have suggested working with animancers to find a more clandestine means of executing the plan.
Walkthrough
- The sabotage is far more straightforward than the Huana option, as you can use Flaune Elette and her teleportation device to appear inside the powderhouse and plant your explosive. The only problem is getting out afterwards, but you can sneak your way out or fight, as the explosion will cover up any traces.
- You will then have to attend a meeting at the Palace, where the crown demands answers. If you maintain your innocence and deflect suspicion from the VTC, the Company will be in the clear while having crippled the RDC irreversibly.
