Description
For many years the innovation of the traditional arbalest was thought to have stagnated. All of that changed the day two wagons collided – one driven by an animancer carting a heavy load of copper springs, the other by an enterprising arbalest enthusiast. Revelation struck as the dust settled and the fated travelers worked to disentangle their spilled cargo.
From that day forward, the pair became inseparable business partners – marketing their spring-loaded improvement on the arbalest to weapons dealers across the Vailian Republics. Others have gone on to copy their design, but this device is thought to be the original prototype that spearheaded great changes in weapon craft and an even greater friendship.
