It is the only ingredient in an alternate recipe used to upgrade Superb quality items to Legendary quality.

Dragons are known to swallow stones, which aid in digestion and help provide ballast in flight. The powerful arcane energies within the magma dragon's crop have fused these stones into a heavy, blazing orb. Its flames do not dim, and its heat does not fade.
