Arborensis was an ancient city and the site of one of Thaos' many atrocities. He ensured that the plague that arrived at the great city would remain uncured, leading to mass deaths and desperation. Eventually, the people of the city piled their dead in heaps outside its walls, and they rose endlessly until they were taller than the battlements.[1]
