Ancient wraith is a creature in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Description
Wraiths are spirits that have remained behind after an especially violent life or death. The widespread violence endemic to the Deadfire Archipelago - warfare, constant raiding - propagates them at an alarming pace. Wraiths hunger for living essence, and they will attack any kith near at hand to acquire it. Though seemingly mindless in their aggression, they are clever enough to fragment groups, snatching up and isolating their victims so they can feed upon them one at a time.
