Wasting Minds is a task in The Forgotten Sanctum.

Synopsis

Bekarna has been imprisoned by the Hand Occult and stripped of her mind. To save her, the Watcher needs to find some thing that can help her focus, something related to her lifelong fascination with stargazing...

Walkthrough

  • Bekarna is of little help in figuring out what to find, but that doesn't matter. What you need to grab is Advanced Wistful Stargazing, located in the Hall of Reconfiguration, in the Alcove of Incision to the northwest. Returning it to Bekarna will help set her mind straight and initiate the next quest, where she'll ask for her grimoire.
    • Be sure to return her book before engaging the Memory Hoarder inside The Assembly of Echoes. Upon starting the interaction with it, the door back up will be barriered off.
    • If you use Llengrath's scroll instead of Thayn's on the Memory Hoarder's Organ, without restoring her mind first, Bekarna will be among those euthanized by it.
