- Since the description and the supposed effects of the ability contradict each other: the Phrase actually lowers enemies' concentration by 1 on each chanting, making them vulnerable to interrupt. Linger has no effect whatsoever, as the effect is instantaneous on casting.
- The phrase itself does not have an Interrupt effect; it only removes Concentration.
- When facing enemies that have multiple layers of Concentration, it's best to put the phrases on a loop, so that Thick Grew Their Tongues... is the only phrase the Chanter is chanting until the enemy's Concentration is brought down to 0.
- Due to triggering only on tick, this ability is better when used by a Troubadour with Brisk Recitation active, as then it activates every 3 seconds.
