Regarding There Being Other Options For A Peaceful Resolution

The page states: Dealing with her peacefully requires either Resolve 17 or having obtained unique knowledge to share. While I did obtain the unique knowledge by learning Engwithan from Icantha at Heritage Hill, that dialogue option never came up with Llengrath when I spoke to her and ended it peacefully the first time. I don't recall seeing the resolve check the first time around either. I did reload the save and repeated the conversation, selecting different options this time, and saw the resolve 17 check and the option about sharing my knowledge of Engwithan with her, but it wasn't necessary for me to end the confrontation peacefully. I only needed to choose a diplomatic option, pass an intellect 16 conversation check, and then she responded at one point with a clever 3 response. I don't know if the clever personality type is required or not. These are the options that I picked in conversation. Some of them are paraphrased and not exact.

  • Who are you?
  • You aren't old enough to be Llengrath.
  • That's why you're after the phylactery, to destroy it?
  • What if I just give you the phylactery?
  • I'm just trying to keep things civil. (Diplomatic)
  • I believe we have much to teach one another. (Intellect 16)
  • You're right, nobody should have Concelhaut's power.
  • Llengrath had the right idea.

  • Here she responded with a (Clever 3) comment: He (Llengrath) was a wise man. ...Not much of a sense of humor, I'm afraid. I'm not sure you would have gotten along.
  • Next she says: ...Perhaps there is a way.

Then she continues with the offer of making a pact and the two of us sharing soul essence. Also, I'm pretty sure this had nothing to do with it, but I did open the confrontation by waving at the dragon during the scripted opening where you are given the options to wave/stand ground/brandish weapons/raise hands. It said something about me possibly seeing a glimmer of amusement in the dragon's eye. :-D I'm running game version 3.04. --HSC8sku1 (talk) 09:19, 3 February 2017 (UTC)

If you can word this in a way, that suits into the walkthrough, then please add it! :) -- UserCCCSig -- You talkin' to me? -- cCContributions -- 10:07, 3 February 2017 (UTC)

Other way to get a pact:

  • Who are you?
  • You aren't old enough to be Llengrath.
  • That's why you're after the phylactery, to destroy it?
  • What if I just give you the phylactery?
  • I'm just trying to keep things civil. (Diplomatic)

(the part from now is translated by me because I was playing in polish)

  • How can I convince you that I'm not a threat? (If you have Benevolent 3 she will answer with: Oh, I don't doubt it. It just doesn't change anything. )
  • Maybe I swear to keep the secret of Phylactery?

Now you have many options:

  • (Honest 2) "On my honor, I swear it." - ends with a pact
  • (Resolve 20) "On my word. Nobody will ever know."- ends with a pact
  • (Stoic 2) "I'm not really much of a talker.". - ends with a pact
  • (Mage) - couldn't check it
  • (Priest) - couldn't check it
  • I... will try - ends with a fight.
  • (Scholar) "Everyone will know of the phylactery! I'll publish every paper I can!" - ends with a fight.
  • (Scientist) - couldn't check it
  • (Attack) - ends with a fight.
