Mostly dwarves out of the White March, the Brambles are perhaps the most implacable and intimidating of the tribes. They're one of the younger tribes, formed over the years by trade routes between the wilds and the mountains. They named themselves after a resilient bush that grows within the March. Tribalism among them is seen as a formality to keep warriors in check, and any further use of society is considered superfluous. They are at odds with the Keepers of the Stone, as they believe themselves to be the favored tribe of the Engwithans.[1]
