St. Waidwen was the Divine King of Divine Kingdom of Readceras.

As a farmer, Waidwen claimed that Eothas had appeared to him in the night and told him to punish the Aedyre colonial governor for leading the people to ruin. He led a popular religious movement to overthrow the colonial rule and upon success transformaed into a living vessel for Eothas.

As the theocratic dictator of the new found kingdom, his rule produced a subsequent purge of heretics and followers of other faiths across the nation. The purge led to the Saint's War with Dyrwood and Waidwen's destruction by a massive bomb north of Halgot Citadel in 2618 AI.
