Slayer's Claw is a soulbound battle axe in Seeker, Slayer, Survivor. It can only be bound to a Barbarian, Fighter, or Paladin.

Description

Base

The verdigris visage of a jungle cat, fangs bared between drawn lips, dominates this Huana axe. Forged entirely of bronze save for the leather wrapped about its grip, the weapon's blade arcs heavily down with each swing, pouncing like the panther that adorns it.

Level 1

A weapon injures. A tool serves. The Slayer serves the stalking, separating heavy jungle vines and parting dense marshy reeds, clearing the hundredfold path before the traveler. Sturdy enough to pry loose stones while sharp enough to ward off predators, this axe more than merely protects - it escorts.

Level 2

The hundredfold path branches one hundred hundred times. The Slayer will not seduce the stalking, for it would hunt willingly the game along each path, striking at every possible prey. Thus does the traveler serve the Slayer, guiding the otherwise arbitrary edge of death.

Level 3

The Slayer stalks the stalking. From dawn until dawn again, as hatchets taken to tree trunks, one hundred hundred travelers divide one hundred hundred branches from the hundredfold path. From dawn until dawn again, the Slayer escorts every traveler to every fork.
