Salve of Dissolution is an unguent in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Description[ | ]
In a somewhat ironic twist, Rymrgand, god decay and misfortune, provided you with this regenerative ointment as a boon for fulfilling your oath to him. The salve is the consistency of tallow and has the stink of a rotting carcass. The waxy substance pulses, as though maggots boil just under the surface.
Acquisition[ | ]
- Cannot be obtained in-game without the use of console commands.
- If you kept your promise to Rymrgand during the quest Council of Stars in Pillars of Eternity, one will be contained in the armoire in the Captain's Cabin (cut content).
Notes[ | ]
- As the description suggests, this item would have been granted if the Watcher keeps their promise to Rymrgand during the quest Council of Stars in Pillars of Eternity, and decides to disintegrate the souls during Memories of the Ancients. However the logic to give this item to the player is not present, so players who get this ending will not receive any sort of boon in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire for doing so.
- It is similar to Berath's Black Bell, Effigy Doll, and Hylea's Bounty for Berath, Skaen, and Hylea's endings/oaths respectively.
