Saeda Valtas is a child in Pillars of Eternity.
She can be found in Valtas Mausoleum in the Heritage Hill district of Defiance Bay, during Safe Haven. Once you have rescued her, you can find her again near the gates of Heritage Hill. The guards then take her to Crucible Keep where you can find her in the training hall.

A little girl cowers in the back of the tomb. Her face is streaked with dirt, and even in the shadows, you can tell she's far too thin. She watches you, holding her breath. Her clothes are little more than filthy rags now, but ripped and stained fabric looks like embroidered silk.
Saeda is the youngest child of the Valtas family, and only survivor and heir to House Valtas, after her family was killed by the undead plague that attacked Heritage Hill. They attempted to board themselves up in the family manor, but were unsuccessful. Saeda was barricaded further in the back of the manor, while her parents were turned to Guls by the hordes. She knew her parents didn't sound right and refused to open the door for them - instead, she dug a way out from her hiding place locked herself in in the family's mausoleum as hordes of the undead shambled outside.

Quests[ | ]
- Safe Haven: She can be saved during the quest, after which she will be found at the Crucible Keep. You find clues pointing to the mausoleum. When you encounter her there, you will need to convince her to leave.
- Undying Heritage: After clearing the Valtas mansion during the task Safe Haven, if you have already talked to Aldhelm, you can trick Saeda into climbing the tower where she will be killed and eaten. Alternatively, you can clear the undead from Heritage Hill and then send her running for the front gate.
