Nungata is a character in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Background[edit | edit source]
A woman with skin like hardened sailcloth sits upright and stares off to the distance, her lips held in a tight and thoughtful pinch. She blinks and sits even straighter as you cross her view. Nungata is an elderly lady who retired to Neketaka after a lifetime of adventuring, violence, and great achievement. However, her life as a bounty hunter that followed the hunting of equally slippery creatures in the jungle has led to a great many foes in her life. She retired, but even a retired Mataru works for the betterment of the tribe. As such, she processes Huana bounties.
She worked with Tekehu in the past -and remembers him well, for the godlike plundered half of her earnings after they took down a crab thief. (Tekehu insists it was only a third).
