Lockpick is a tool in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.

These slender steel tools can be used to assist in opening a variety of locks. If a lock is slightly outside the range of a picker's expertise, some lockpicks may be sacrificed in the process of opening it.

Usage[ | ]
- Lockpicks are used with the Mechanics skill to pick locked containers and doors. A lock's difficulty level determines the number of lockpicks required to open it:
- If the difficulty is lower than Mechanics, no lockpicks are required.
- If the difficulty is equal to Mechanics, 1 lockpick is required.
- If the difficulty is one level higher than Mechanics, 3 lockpicks are required.
- If the difficulty is two or more levels higher than Mechanics, the lock cannot be picked.
