Fire godlike are a sub-race of godlike in Pillars of Eternity and Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Origin and prevalence[ | ]
Fire godlike are kith thought to be blessed before birth by Magran, the godess of fire and war. While not necessarily outcast as Death godlike are, or universally praised as the Moon godlike are, they are instead both revered and feared for their supposed ability to awaken volcanoes and bring wrath upon those who anger them - a fear which is in no small part brought about by their fiery appearance. However, in parts of Eora that worship Magran, fire godlike are seen as a sign of blessing from the god herself.
Appearance and culture[ | ]
Fire godlike are unmistakable in their appearance. Most have obsidian-coloured skin, often resembling hot metal, burnt wood or stone, but some have skin similar to that of a regular human. Cracks in the skin give way to bursts of fire, giving them the appearance of an active volcanic stream or a raging fire. Most if not all fire godlike feature flowing flames in place of regular hair. Though harmless, it glows brightly and proudly. Fire godlike often have demonic black horns or protrusions from their heads, and almost always have bright, fiery-coloured eyes.
