What follows is an initiate's primer in the Four Forms of watershaping, which comprise the basic lessons of our guild: Grief, Hope, Metamorphosis, and Transcendence.
The Form of Grief - Acceptance that one's physicality is not as mutable as water.
The Form of Hope - Understanding that water is more relentless and inexorable than any natural force.
The Form of Metamorphosis - Realization that the body's internal water can help to mediate the prior forms.
The Form of Transcendence - Water covers Eora. If water can be shaped, so can the world.

- This item isn't currently used in any quests, and was originally used as a clue to a cut puzzle. As stated by one of the narrative designers, in a forum post:
- "If my memory serves, there used to be a puzzle in the Watershapers Guild which used that item as a clue, but the puzzle was ultimately cut. I guess the flag identifying that book as a quest item wasn't un-flagged." [1]
