Broken Dragon Egg is a quest item in Pillars of Eternity. It is obtained if you fail to retrieve the dragon egg safely during the quest Nest Egg.

This dragon egg is a mottled gold color and warm to the touch. The shell is broken and sticky with leaking fluid.
Acquisition[ | ]
- Dyrford Crossing: During the quest Nest Egg, if you pass the Athletics 5 check to scale the cliff then fail the Constitution 20 check to climb back down. Alternatively, if you use a Rope and Grappling Hook to scale the cliff then fail the Constitution 16 check to climb back down.
Usage[ | ]
- May be returned to Hendyna in Dyrford Village to complete Nest Egg.
