I feel I am on the very cusp of a breakthrough, but I have reached the limits of what I can accomplish with tools alone.
You yourself have had some fortune with locating volunteers. I hoped that, as your colleague, I might entreat you to make some small inquiries on my behalf. My needs being so specific, and myself having had few wholly positive interactions with the locals, I must confess that I am out of my depth.
If you could simply spread the word that I am in search of test subjects - pregnant women, in particular - that alone would be of inestimable help.
